Few animals are at the top of my list of the most iconic: polar and grizzly bears , great white sharks and tigers. But for shear beauty tigers are at the top. It is sad that there are less than 4000 tigers left in the wild today and there is a high probability they they will go extinct in 10-20 years. Parks like Bandhavgarh in India where I shot this image do an admirable job in trying to protect tigers but when the tigers roam outside parks which they often do they can be killed and poachers remain a threat even inside the parks.
