Tiger Shark

Blue water. For divers blue water refers to the open ocean where you cannot see the bottom or shore while you are diving. In the Pacific the sea floor drops very fast and within 300 ft / 100m of the shore you can already have 1500 ft / 500m depth. Because of the great depth some large pelagic fish like this tiger shark can be seen roaming the ocean. Reaching 16ft (5m) the Tiger Shark is the apex predator in tropical waters.

Is there anything more beautiful than a large tiger shark swimming majestically in the ocean ? YES , having many “little” black tip and reef sharks swimming around the giant in the French Polynesia!
